We were so fortunate to get to know Gene and Marilyn in Show Low. We were a foursome every week after Dale hit a ball into another group they were playing with and I think Gene felt sorry for us! What great times and lots of laughs. We will miss this classy guy. Love, Val and Dale

My memory of the first day I met Gene will be with me forever. It was over 20 years ago on the golf course of DMAFB. We were out to play 9 holes and the starter asked if he could put another with us. So here comes Gene, toting a brand new set of clubs, his first with graphite shafts. After nine holes of chasing Gene’s ball all over the golf course, I didn’t know a lot about his game but I knew he was a man that I wanted as my friend forever. His laugh was so infectious!! That started many a round of golf and many adventures in our motor homes.
My heartfelt sympathy to Marilyn and the rest of the family.
