So miss Stephanie was my Parents first grandchild. She spent many years being totally spoiled by mom and dad till the other grand baby’s arrived. When all the grandchildren would later get together she still thought she was the boss.
I don’t think Ashley or Andrea or Sarah thought the same.
So we would have to keep an eye on all those strong minded children at the get togethers. Nanas house was always the best. I’m sure each of them have so many great memories of Nana and Tatas house. Well honestly we would also have to keep an eye on Nana and Tata too. Those two were extremely strong minded and sometimes would enjoy a Coors beer at those gatherings. When Nana started her singing we knew it was time to join in or head home. Let her and Dad sing away. Haha!

Everything you said is so true, that is exactly how it was. They both loved their grandchildren dearly. They loved having sleepovers with the kid’s. When they were little, mom would rock them and sing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” In the morning, mom and dad would take turns making them anything they wanted from Nana and Tata’s Cafe.

So mom and dad always enjoyed snow. I didn’t realize it till now but apparently Dad always enjoyed having his shirt off.Apparently I did too! I think we all adored his amazing physique. He enjoyed his weights and his running, hiking and being the fastest up the mountain And he was. True story.
The day I was born dad comes home from work, mom tells him, Bob I think the baby is coming. Dad says, Soph I just need to go to Johny Gibson Gym to show Carl Brown. Mom says ok I guess! When he returns from Gym moms water had broke and of course now he becomes a Hero because he runs every light getting her to TMC just before moments there I fell out. Really! Almost didn’t make it. For pay backs when dad asked mom what the baby was she told him it’s a girl. His face was accepting. Then she said “ No it’s a boy”. Dad was so happy I’m told. Of course he already had his precious Brenda that heLoved so dearly. We all Loved Brenda so dearly. She was the best sister I could have asked for. She was my protector and wouldn’t let the nuns or anyone else at Immaculate Heart abuse me. Only she was allowed to do that. In a Loving way of course. I still have the scars to prove it! Haha

My parents loved cooking together. Mom pounding Machaca on her precious Metate that I cherish. Dad is teaching Scott on mixing the perfect batch of Masa. It better float!
Green corn was another story. Dad would roast the chiles outside on his nice brick mesquite BBQ. When done roasting he would throw on some Steaks. No one made them better!

Mom truly loved and adored her strong loving man and they had some great times together. Dad dedicated the last 2 years of moms life caring for her. He was there 24/7 by her side! It was total Love and commitment at its finest. He mourned her death for almost 2 years till he started living again!

Dad was always the best dresser. When he wasn’t in his hunting or fishing clothes he could really style! He took a lot of pride when he would step out!

Dad enjoyed his assortment of guns! I think he spent more time admiring them, cleaning them and talking about them then he did firing them. Just his little hobby!
