Denise and family,
A fun memory of mine about Greg is from the days of kids in baseball.
Sean played on a team with my grandson Devon Carrillo....
I recall when Sean would stand at bat,
Greg would holler:
'GIVE IT A RIDE, SEAN'.....!
My condolences for your loss.
Greg was a great guy....

Denise and Family~
We, at Casino Del Sol, extend to you and your family our sincere sympathy on Greg’s passing. You and Greg are a “one of a kind” Love story!! Greg could be “challenging” at times and one thing that he made perfectly clear to all that he encountered……Do not mess with my Family!!! I so respected this because he was a true, honorable man who was always there for his Family!
A few months ago, Greg and I had the best phone conversation! He was at home on the patio and Owen was filling his pockets with rocks. We laughed so much, and Greg was in his glory spending time with his Grandson! Then Greg said, “Oh, Owen just took his clothes off and is running around naked! “ Greg was so happy and having so much fun! I told him, “Just wait until Maverick gets a little older and then you will have two…. just like you!” It was one of the best times that I had with Greg because he shared how much he cherished and loved his family!
Because of this conversation, we at Casino Del Sol, are donating backpacks to underprivileged children in Greg’s name. I believe that this would be more special to Greg than flowers. Our CEO, Kimberly VanAmburg, is personally delivering backpacks today to the children. The children will be soooooo happy and thankful! Kim personally bought several backpacks to give in Greg’s name plus Ryan ordered more, which will be delivered at a later date. We will try to get some photos of the children receiving these backpacks in order to send to you. I will follow up in the near future.
FYI: The frontline staff, [servers, slots, bartenders, Jennifer at PY and staff, etc.] took this very hard. There have been lots of tears since they genuinely liked Greg plus he always treated them kindly!
I have been the Host of thousands of Guests. Without a doubt, Greg was my #1 favorite since he kept me on my toes, challenged the system and me, and yet made me laugh and I looked forward to seeing him every time!!!
Please know that we, at Casino Del Sol, respected Greg and are always available to you. I am just a phone call away for you, Sean and Lisa!!!! I will be there tonight for you. [ I have not attended a memorial or funeral for over 28 years; however, I will be there for you and Greg.]
Much Love~
Suzanne~

Remember me when you hear the wind blow.
I am with God, I need you to know.
He called my name, and I went to see
If the voice I heard was speaking to me.
He took my hand, we walked along
The road to heaven, where I belong.
The angles sang so sweet and clear.
They sang of love and that Jesus is near.
I felt his touch, I saw his face,
I knew in an instant I was in his grace.
He spoke to me, I heard him say,
You are home now child, you have found your way.
So remember me when you hear the wind blow.
I am home now with God, I need you to know.
To my most wonderful amazing honest brother-in-law, you will be truly missed but never forgotten. Thank you for always looking after my sister, nephews and nice, my sister could not of asked for a better husband my nephews and nice could not have asked for a better father I myself am so grateful and blessed that I got to know you, you are a man that I always looked up to, thank you for always being there for me and my family love always.

Greg, I will miss you very much. I have always been so thankful for the way you have taken care of my sister. I will never forget you opening your home to me when I was at a place in my life that I needed it the most. I have many fond memories of the times we shared together in Boulder and Tucson, I will always cherish those times. I will fulfill my promise to you that I will be there for my sister, niece, and nephews if they ever need anything. I will always share fun times and stories that they can share with their families. You will never be forgotten and I will hold you close to my heart. My son Matthew will honer you every time his full name his mentioned or written. Matthew Gregory Geck, Rest In Peace until we laugh together again. Joe

Heaven
I know that you are grieving…But please don’t cry for me…
Rejoice for I’m in heaven…I’m young again and free…
I entered through the pearly gates…Stunned by heavens sight…
Such beauty all around me…The city shimmering with light…
The Crystal Sea is dazzling…Under skies of vivid blue…
Majestic mountains in the background…Glistening with dew…
The roads throughout the city… Sparkle of pure gold…
There’s peace and such tranquility…So many things untold…
The Angels were rejoicing as I approached the throne…
Loved ones gone before me were welcoming me home….
I stood before our Savior…I bowed before the King…
Humbled by his presence…I could hear the praises ring…
I thanked him for salvation…for his presence in my life…
I asked that he send comfort to my children and my wife…
I’m gone…but not forever…You’re always in my heart...
One day you will come join me and we’ll never have to part…
I’ll be waiting here to greet you….I’ll walk you to the throne…
We’ll spend eternity together…With heaven as our home…

I am so very sorry about your loss. I never had the privilege of meeting Greg, but it sounds like he was a wonderful man who left many wonderful memories for you to look back on. May these memories bring you comfort. God's written word assures us that "there is going to be a resurrection" (Acts 24:15). May the hope of being reunited with a healthy Greg help you begin to heal (Isaiah 33:24). Please accept my deepest sympathy and a warm invitation for you to find more comfort at jw.org

Denise, Chris, Sean and Lisa-
I am so sorry for your loss. Greg was one of the most amazing men I ever had the pleasure of knowing. His friendship was so important to my dad and his willingness to help after he passed is something I have never forgotten. It was an honor to have him build my girls crib and he will always have a very special place in my heart. I hope he and my dad are together again having a good laugh. Please reach out if you need anything at all!

Denise and family, we are saddened for your loss. Greg was always so kind to us and it was fun to be around both of you and hang out on the road trips.
He was just too cool in his Blues Brothers shades.
We pray for you and family to find peace and hope your precious memories will put a smile on your faces
He adored those grandkids and his face always lit up when we asked about them.
May he Rest In Peace and May you find peace in this very difficult time. Your in our thoughts and prayers
