Obituary of Valerie Ann Valenzuela

VALENZUELA, Valerie Ann 62, passed on to her eternal life surrounded by loving family and friends on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Banner UMC. A proud native Tucsonan, she was born on February 12, 1956 to William B. Valenzuela (deceased) and Sabina S. Valenzuela. She became a devoted mother to her daughter, Aida V. DeJonghe. Valerie was a graduate of Salpointe Catholic HS ('74) and alum of Pima CC and University of Arizona. She led a successful career as a Legal Secretary for nearly three decades, during which she made lifelong friendships. Valerie had a deep love of the Lord and was an active member of the Catholic Church throughout her life. Services to honor Val's memory will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Santa Cruz Church; Visitation 9:30 a.m., Rosary 10:30 a.m., Mass 11:00 a.m., and Reception to follow.
