He was preceded in passing by his parents Anna and Antoni Chmielowiec  Sr., his sisters Ann (Steffie), Jennie (Jay), and Frances,  brothers John, Joe, and Chester. Also preceded  by his wife Erma Brown, his son Todd, granddaughter Acacia and his beloved Kathy Barlow. He leaves behind his children and daughter-in-law, Antoni Chmielowiec III, Mark Chmielowiec, Jamie and daughter-in-law Kerry Chmielowiec and daughter Candace Geissler. Tony was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. He was raised in the farming community of Colebrooke, Ohio and as a young man worked in the rubber factory where he met Erma Bradley. They were married in 1952. He later enlisted in the Army at the age of 18 and was very proud to earn his wings as a Paratrooper with the Elite 82nd Airborne, ”All Americans”. He was a drill instructor and member of the Army’s drill team. In 1960 they packed up and moved to Tucson where they raised a family, and later divorced. He established himself as a mason, custom home builder, and owned and operated Miels Masonry for many years. He was a Horseman who bread and raised Quarter horses and Thoroughbreds on his ranch in Tucson for over 30 years. He was also a loyal member of the local AA Club for 45 years where he spent many days playing pool and pinochle with his "soul mate" Kathy Barlow.

Tony was a gentle and loving man who loved his family, loved his ”Born Free Ranch”, and loved to laugh and tell "Polish" jokes! We love you so much, and you will be deeply and dearly missed. May you be forever be filled with peace and God's blessings.

We request in the memory of Tony donations be made to the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona.
