Obituary of Glenn Donald Schoolcraft
Glenn Donald Schoolcraft of Tucson started his heavenly journey home on April 4, 2024, at the age of 76, from complications of COPD.
He was born in Charleston, West Virginia, on January 23, 1948. Glenn grew up in St. Albans, West Virginia, graduating from St. Albans High School in 1966. After graduation, he joined the United States Navy, serving abroad the nuclear aircraft carrier, USS Enterprise during the Vietnam War.
Glenn resided in Arizona for over 45 years. He built many roads and bridges all over Arizona and he loved his work. He loved to skeet-shoot, fish and most of all, rodeo.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, James Donald Schoolcraft and Harriet Evangeline Smith Schoolcraft.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Nancy Taylor Schoolcraft, son William Elliott Schoolcraft (Charlene), daughter Mylissa Spradling (Andy), of St. Albans, West Virginia, son Shawn Allen, of Louisiana, eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one on the way.
He is also survived by his most cherished sister, Sue Reynolds, of Florissant, Missouri and three nieces.
Glenn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
A viewing will be held one hour prior to the 2:00 pm service on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 6150 Fairmount St., Tucson, Arizona, with the Bishop Adam Braun officiating.
Burial will be at Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Marana, Arizona, May 2, 2024, at noon.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bring’s Broadway Chapel, Tucson, Arizona.
