Obituary of Dolores Wogan

Dolores Wogan (nee Steinheimer) known as Dee, 88, joined her husband Mike, of 58 years in heaven on January 31, 2024.  She was born and raised in Reno, NV.  She married her high school sweetheart in the National Cathedral in Washington D.C.  Her life was one of travel, first as the wife of a Marine officer, then as a civilian.  They lived all over the U.S. and on Okinawa, Japan.  They traveled Europe, Japan, South America, Egypt, Israel, Australia, Canada and the Polynesian and Caribbean Islands.  She loved family history, working on genealogy with her mother, niece and nephew.  She leaves behind her daughter, son-in-law, three grandchildren, their partners, four great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  We wish to thank the caregivers at TALR, Dr. VanHook and his staff, Tucson Corrective Exercise and Hospice on the Desert.  Funeral services will be held at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Tucson, AZ on Thursday February 22, 2024, at 3 pm.  The burial will take place at 11:00 am on Friday February 23, 2024 at the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Sierra Vista, AZ.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project.
