Obituary of Mark Stephen Strope
Mark Stephen Strope, of Tucson, AZ, aged 69, passed away November 30th, 2023.
Mark was born and raised in Bay City, Michigan, and attended St. Stanislaus Catholic school and church.
Mark eventually moved to Memphis, TN where he met and married the love of his life, Terri. After retiring from the construction industry, they moved to Tucson AZ. He loved his home state of Michigan, his Michigan sports teams, the mountains in Arizona and was passionate for his beloved ‘classic vinyl’ rock and roll.
Mark leaves behind to mourn his passing his wife Terri Strope, of Tucson; Sons Greg Strope and Brian Strope (Cody) of Bay City, Michigan; Daughter Angie Rudd of Horn Lake, MS; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He also leaves siblings Lee Strope (Cindy) of Dunedin, Fla; Sue Jacobs (Joe) of Munger, MI; Lynn Kalinowski (Dave) of Bay City, MI; Connie Kolka (Doug) of Midland, MI; Patrick Strope (Shelley) of Bay City, MI.
He also leaves a huge host of much loved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elaine and Lester Strope and a sister, Kathleen Strope.
A memorial service to honor Mark will be on January 4, 2024 at 10am at St Stanislaus Church in Bay City, MI.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children Hospital.
