In Loving Memory of Louise Helen Zellock

On Monday, September 4th, 2023, Louise Helen Zellock, a cherished family member and friend, passed away at the age of eighty-nine. Her legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering generosity.

Louise's journey began when she met her beloved husband, Steven Zellock, where they soon embarked on a lifelong adventure together. Louise often reminisced about marrying an Air Force man with dreams of exploring the world. Their journey took them as far as Little Rock, Arkansas before eventually settling down in Tucson, Arizona where they lovingly laid their roots. Louise and Steven's marriage was marked by enduring happiness, countless stories, and shared laughter. Their home was a sanctuary filled with cherished memorabilia and the pitter-patter of several fortunate canine companions throughout their lifetime. Their love story spanned 53 years, until Steven was called to his eternal rest in 2012.

Throughout her life, Louise touched the hearts of countless people with her boundless kindness and generosity. Her impact on the lives of those she encountered was immeasurable, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that will forever be remembered.

Louise is survived by her loving sister, Marie, extended family, caretakers, and those she affectionately referred to as her "self-appointed" family members, all of whom she embraced throughout her life in Tucson, Arizona.

A viewing to celebrate Louise's life will be held on September 18th at Brings Broadway Chapel, 6910 E. Broadway Boulevard, beginning at 4:30 pm, followed by a rosary at 5:30 pm. On September 19th, a mass in remembrance of Louise will be held at Our Mother of Sorrows, 1800 S. Kolb Road, at 9:30 am, with a procession to the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Sierra Vista, AZ immediately following the morning service.

Instead of gifts or flowers, the family respectfully asks that those who can, consider making a donation to a cause that held a special place in Louise's heart: St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Louise was a kind and compassionate individual, deeply dedicated to assisting those in need.

Louise Helen Zellock's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and a life well-lived. May she rest in eternal peace.
