Obituary of Boyd Done

M. Boyd Done, beloved husband of Jeanette Done and lifetime resident of Tucson, Arizona, born on October 14, 1934, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 after a brief stay at Tucson Medical Center’s Peppi’s House.  He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Binghampton Ward and former Sunrise Ward.  Serving in many callings and as a Bishop in both Wards, he was a great leader and even more wonderful father, husband and grandfather.   Taking a Graphic Arts class in high school, he became a lifetime printer, starting his own business in 1962 which grew into a large and respected shop called Skyline Printing.  Marrying his high school sweetheart, they were the parents of five children and enjoyed countless family gatherings in their back yard celebrating family birthdays and special occasions.  He enjoyed water skiing, sharing this passion with multiple trips to the lakes with his family as well as the youth of his Ward.  Later, snow skiing also became a yearly family trip to Snowbird, Utah where lasting memories were built and treasured by his large family. He is survived by his wife Jeanette Done and four surviving children, Brian and wife Cathy Done, Debbie and husband Jeff Trumper,  Craig and wife Suzette Done, Mark and wife Christy Mace Done.  He was preceded in death by his fifth child,  beloved daughter Melissa Done. His posterity includes 25 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held Monday, July 3^rd at 10:15 a.m. at the LDS Linden Ward Chapel at 1540 E. Linden Street, Tucson, Arizona.  Burial service will precede the funeral and will take place at the Binghampton Cemetery at 4001 N. Alvernon Way, Tucson, Arizona at 8:30 a.m. There will also be a viewing Sunday evening, July 2, 2023 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bring’s Funeral Home, 6910 E. Broadway, Tucson, Arizona.
