Obituary of Manuel G. Castro

Manuel G. Castro, age 88, passed away on June 23, 2023, in Tucson, Arizona.

Manuel was born in Mexico to Jose Castro and Maria Gonzalez. He married Arsenia Heredia in Nogales, Arizona. A devoted husband and father who enjoyed team roping across the state of Arizona. Manuel was a rancher for many years and had a fond love of horses. A man who loved being surrounded by his family. He will be missed by many.

Manuel is survived by his wife Arsenia; children, Manuelito, Grelda, and Luis; siblings, Ignacio (Armida) and Maria Elena Quintanar; grandchildren, Cassandra, and Marcos; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 8:00 a.m. July 3, 2023, at Bring’s Broadway Chapel. Burial will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Black Oak Cemetery in Canelo, Arizona.
