Mark Vulkoff

Obituary of Mark Edward Vulkoff

Mark Edward Vulkoff passed away on Friday, April 28 after a brief illness. He was born in Selma, Alabama to an Air Force family on August 25, 1959. The family moved through five states before arriving in Tucson in 1971. Mark graduated from Santa Rita High school in 1977. After high school, he started his career as a draftsman, traveling and working for aviation companies Sikorsky and Boeing before moving back to Tucson to work for Lear Jet as a project manager. He had a successful career there, continuing after the company was sold to Bombardier, until he retired in 2018. Since then, he spent his time restoring a 1957 Ford Thunderbird, spending time with family, and playing lots of golf. He was the biggest personality in the room, his laugh was the loudest, and he had such a quick wit. He was a friend to you as soon as you met him. We are heartbroken that he was taken from us so suddenly.
He is survived by his son, Logan, his parents, Craig and Oz, his sister, Deborah Rohrbaugh (Dave), nephew, Tom Rohrbaugh (Theresa), and niece Meredith Napor (Bob), stepson Adam Shepp, plus cousins and great nephews. A celebration of life will be planned in the coming weeks.
