Obituary of Walter Marvin Roberts

Walter Marvin Roberts passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on April 19, 2023. 

Walt served in the US Air Force in Germany.  He was predeceased by his father, James Walter Roberts, his mother Lena Mae Harrington, step-brother Ralph P. Roberts, and his first wife Nancy King Roberts.

He is survived by his wife Elaine B Roberts, his sons, Perry Roberts, Barry Roberts (Patty), and John Roberts (Kimberly), his stepchildren Tom Evans (Andrea), Doug Evans (Cady), and Mindy Evans Ehn (James), and his sister Sue Hash.  He leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was a Civil Engineer and worked in many places across the United States and the world.

He was a well loved member of the Mountain View Church of the Nazarrene in Tucson Arizona and had a passion for spreading the word of God.  He was an active member of the Gideons and participated in the Kairos Prison Ministry.  He also appreciated God’s presence in nature and spending time outdoors. 

He will be sadly missed and will hold a special place in our hearts.
