Obituary of Sharon Ann Wilson

Sharon Ann Wilson, age 79 of Tucson, Arizona and originally of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away on February 21, 2023 at her home.

Sharon was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on September 14, 1943 to Joseph Ellsworth Wilson Betty Jane Wilson. She lived in Milwaukee until 2012 when she moved to Tucson to be closer to her son, Kevin Wilson and his family.

Sharon worked as an accounting clerk for Milwaukee County for 30 years and retired in 2004.  After her retirement, Sharon was involved in many church activities and took care of her Uncle and Aunt, Lawrence and Mary Neal, until their deaths.

Sharon attended Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and most recently United Christian Fellowship (formerly Rincon Baptist Church) in Tucson, Arizona, where she was an active member of the Women’s Sunday School Class and Women’s Ministry Program. She will be missed by her church family and her Friday afternoon domino-playing friends.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Betty Wilson, her Grandmother, Ethel Mae Moore, and her Uncle and Aunt, Lawrence and Mary Neal.  She is survived by her son, Kevin L. Wilson, her daughter-in-law, Donna, granddaughter, Amber Larsen, and grandson, Kevin N. Wilson.

Sharon will be interred in Hokes Bluff, Alabama near her extended family.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at a future date at United Christian Fellowship (formerly Rincon Baptist Church).
