Obituary of Ted Michael Anderson

Anderson,Ted Michael Ted passed away September 3, 2022 at the VA hospital due to a heart condition. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Pamenter and his friend Pam Logasa who predeceased him in 2001. Son Ted Michael Anderson Jr. and daughter Senli Anderson Chandler and three grandchildren, all of Vacaville,CA survived him. Ted was born March 31 st,1943 in. Oakland,CA to Louis and Nancy Anderson also deceased. He joined the Air Force in 1960 and retired in 1980 as an aircraft loadmaster, acquiring over 5000 flight hours and earning the coveted "Combat Aircrew Badge" for service in Vietnam. Ted flew many sorties into Vietnam during the period of 1967-1975and was proud of the opportunity afforded him to travel throughout the world during his Air Force career. Ted settled in Santa Rosa after meeting Pam in 1980 and remained there until 2003. He retired from the post office in 1998,which allowed him time to commit to numerous volunteer activities in the community and nationally. He was also a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 223, a lifetime member of the American Legion, VFW Post 549, Air Force Sergeants Association, the Professional Loadmaster Association and several other Veterans related organizations. Ted also volunteered at Binkley Elementary School in Santa Rosa and was regional chairman for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation during the "Drive for the Cure". Ted relocated to Tucson,AZ in 2003 and met Liz. He married in 2013. In lieu of flowers, he requests thoughts and donations to the "Pam Logasa Cancer Research Fund", c/o SR Memorial Hospital Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
