Obituary of Louis Franklin Lakies

Louis Franklin (Frank) Lakies, age 69, of Tucson, formerly of Flushing, Michigan, passed away at home on July 16, 2022, with his loving wife Nancy by his side. Frank was an avid bear hunter before moving to Tucson in 1994. While living in Tucson, he enjoyed golfing, socializing with friends, and making many frequent trips to Reno and Vegas after retirement. He formerly worked in the restaurnt busines and later as an automotive service advisor. He was a member of Thunder Mountain Moose Lodge and the American Legion. 

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Patricia, as well as by his beloved daughter Ryane. He is survived by his much loved wife of 33 years, Nancy (Edwards), as well as by his brother Thomas (Shirley) Lakies and David (Brenda) Lakies, both of Michigan, and several other relatives. 

Remember him kindly, as a good man who was a friend to many, and a caring, giving, loving man who embraced life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

Cremation will take place at Brings Funeral Home in Tucson. No service will follow.
