Obituary of Joseph George Klinger

Joseph G. Klinger Sr. Born St. Patrick's Day 1932, Brooklyn, NY, Died May 2, 2015, Tucson, AZ. Joe was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Virginia and is survived by children, Joe, Steve, Mike, Lisa and Chris, as well as ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Joe set the benchmark for honor and integrity throughout his life. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy and as a White House and Metropolitan DC Police Officer. He had an unwavering devotion to his family, church and friends and he was appreciated and loved by all who knew him. He never questioned God's plan and so while we grieve his loss we know in our hearts that all is well and that a new guardian angel walks with us throughout each day. A Memorial gathering will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1800 N. Camino Pio Decimo at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, May 9, 2015 with a service immediately following at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
