Born April 8, 1933 in Lerdo, Durango, Mexico to Maria de la Paz Barbosa Gonzalez and Emilio Briones Iglesias passed away on September 4, 2015 . Querida hermana, you are now in heaven with your son. Survived by brother Jesus (Ida) Briones of Tucson. Sergio (Dora) Briones of Ciudad Obregon, Mexico. Son Martin Villegas of Tucson, Nephews Jesus of Tucson, Carlos (Elizabeth) Briones of El Centro, Ca, Nieces Maria (Steve) Sims and Flavia Briones all of Tucson. Grand nieces Ariana Torres, Christina and Jessica Sims, Lucia Briones. Grand Nephews Sergio Torres and Emilio Briones and grandchildren Martinyka and Armand Villegas. Numerous cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her mother Maria de la Paz Briones Barbosa, father Emilio Briones Iglesias, son, Juan M. Coss, brother, Cipriano Briones and husband Secundino Coss. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 8:30am until time of service at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL. (6910 E. Broadway Blvd) Celebration of life at 9:10am. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00am at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church (801 N. Grande Ave) with the Rev. Abran Tadeo officiating. Burial to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Descanse en paz.
