Obituary of Joe G. Trejo

Joe "Conchi" "Taco" Trejo. He was born in Shafter, Texas to Faustina and Apolonio Trejo. His family moved to Sonora, Arizona in 1942; graduating from Ray High School in 1956. He lived in Los Angeles, CA and retired in Tucson, AZ. He was a member and director of the Spanish choir at St. Joseph's Church for almost 20 years. He took great pride in being a self-taught mechanic and musician. His love for music always sent him traveling. He had a great love for his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lily; daughters, Christy, Nancy Jo (Jerry), Angela (Mike), Suzanna (Nick); grandchildren, Joseph, Michaela, Anicia, Cruz and Lucas; his four sisters, his brother and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Joseph; his parents and his brother, Paul. He touched so many lives with his voice and musical talents. His devotion to his family, friends and music was like no other. Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m., Rosary 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at St. Francis De Sales Church, 1375 S. Camino Seco, Tucson, AZ. Burial at All Faiths Memorial Park.
