Obituary of Barbara J. Farnsworth

Barbara J. (Bishop) Farnsworth 86, passed away October 30, 2015 at her home at Brookdale Ventana Canyon. She was born on December 12, 1928. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband or 46 years, Clayton O. Farnsworth. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Richard) Coop; son, Clayton P. Farnsworth; grandsons, Jeffrey Coop and Steven (Cindy) Coop and six great-grandchildren. Barbara lived most of her life in Tucson. She graduated from Tucson High School, and was an active member of the Women's Y Ott Club, as well as a long term member of the Tucson Gem and Mineral Society. She was an annual figure at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show where she worked for many years. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff and friends at Brookdale Ventana Canyon for the care and support they gave her the last 4½ years of her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A private family interment will be in the Rose Garden at St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
