Obituary of Evelyn F. Vernon

Evelyn F. Vernon was born in Versailles, Missouri on January 7, 1934 to Coy and Edna Baquet. She went on to be with her Lord on December 25, 2015. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Edward Vernon, brother Russell Baquet, Sisters Wanda Thompson and Elizabeth Isaac, and sons Phillip (Judy), Gordon (Sonia) and Gregory (Jackie) Vernon, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Evelyn was a proud wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the owner/operator of The Quilters Bee - aka: Evelyn's Quilters for 40 years. Services will be held at her church, Rincon Baptist Church, 7500 E. Golf Links Road, on Saturday, January 2, 2015. Viewing will be at 9:30am and services at 11:00am. Please give donations to the building fund at Rincon Baptist in-lieu of flowers.
