Obituary of Johnnie E. January

Johnnie E. January, born September 26, 1942, passed January 28, 2016. At the age of 19, Johnnie's mother Velma Dean Browning signed for him to join the Air Force. Johnnie served 21 years in the USAF. While in the Air Force, he was a supervisor and installed equipment at the 390 missile maintenance squadron at DMAFB. Johnnie was also a supervisor of the 3901 strategic missile evaluation squadron at Vandenberg AFB in Ca. where he was with the 394 missile test squadron and worked with the Titan II missile. Johnnie received awards and recognitions for his many achievements. After he retired from the Air Force, Johnnie started working with electronics at TV Pros followed by Jerry Wall TV. Johnnie loved working with electronics. While working at Jerry Wall, Johnnie met his wife Christine who grew to love him in a way no one else has. Johnnie is survived by his wife Christine, daughter Stephanie, son John L., granddaughters Tiffani January and Crystal Lanik, great grandsons Riley January, Skyler and Myles Crocker. Johnnie is loved and missed, gone but not forgotten. We love our hero. R.I.P
