Huachuca Select Honor Guard. The real Michael Reed: 71 is too young to die. Having lost his wife of 30 years just 2 years ago, he wasn't shy about expressing his love to people. Nor was he shy about living for the day, spending time with those he loved including his cherished puppy dogs. He indulged in witty conversations with all people he came in contact with and never passed up an opportunity to enjoy ice cream. He sincerely appreciated those around him regardless their station in life. He loved to people watch and share moments even though he'd survived his greatest love Linda Reed. Michael Reed charmed his way around as often as he could. He was a life long learner and collector of both precious items and enduring memories. During this harrowing moment, he will be remembered dearly. The Broken Chain We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name, In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. - anon
