Obituary of Gail Clara Mellen

MELLEN, Gail Clara 82 years old, passed away on June 15, 2016 after a battle with Alzheimer's. Gail was born and raised in Hillsdale, MI. She graduated high school at 16, then went to work for the FBI in Washington, DC. There she met her husband of 43 years, Robert (USMC). They moved to Tucson, AZ in 1960. Moved to Amado, AZ in 1969. She started working for the Sahuarita Unified School District during the 1970-71 school year. Gail was the secretary at the Junior High for many years and retired from the district in 1999. Preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Roberta (1961) and her husband, Robert (1997). She leaves behind her four children, Susan Gallo (Tim), Cindy Arrebollo (Rey), Ruthann Poole (Dean) and Steven Mellen (John). She also leaves behind ten grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at 4781 W. Bluebell Way Tucson, AZ.
