Obituary of Thomasina Marie Teta

TETA, Thomasina M died peacefully in her home on June 24, 2016, the date of her 72nd wedding anniversary. Born on March 10, 1923 in New York City, she has lived in Tucson since 1978. Thomasina was preceded in death by her husband, Alphonse, parents Giuseppe and Carmela Casertano; brothers Pasquale and Prisco Casertano . She is survived by her sons Fr Mike and Joseph Teta (Noreen) 5 grandchildren Joey, Ethan, Laura, Michelle and Billy along with 7 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a very special person in her life, Matti Hiltunen. Mrs. Teta was a long time employee of Our Mother of Sorrows School and a church parishioner. She was beloved to many and will forever be in our hearts. A visitation will be held Tuesday June 28th, 2016 from 6 PM to 8 PM with a rosary at 7 PM at Bring's Broadway Chapel 6910 E. Broadway Blvd. A Mass will be said Wednesday June 29, 2016 at 12:00 PM at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church 1800 S. Kolb Rd with interment to follow at Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery.
