Obituary of Beverly Joan Wilson Wright

Beverly Joan Wilson Wright left this world on July 4, 2016. A loving mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, she leaves behind a long legacy of love. Beverly is a native New Yorker who grew up on Staten Island and attended New York City public schools. After graduation she combined continuing education college credits with a career as an administrative assistant, working for the phone company, federal government, and the New Jersey Department of Education. After her marriage to an officer in the Army, Beverly lived many places, eventually settling in Sicklerville, New Jersey for 32 years where she raised her daughter and was active in in her church community. In 2004, she moved to Tucson, Arizona, to be close to her daughter, son-in-law, and grandson. A published author, Beverly often wrote personalized poems for family and friends' marriages, births, christenings and funerals. Her generous spirit will be missed by all who knew her. Beverly is survived by her daughter, Wendy, her son-in-law, Marc, her sisters Dolores, Barbie, and Georgianna, her uncle, Donald, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins in Arizona, New York, and North Carolina. Services for Beverly will be held at Grace St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 2331 East Adams Street, in Tucson Arizona on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 6:00pm.
