Obituary of Melanie Anne Roe

Melanie Anne Roe, 52, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016, at 4:11 p.m., at Banner University Hospital Tucson, surrounded by her family, after a prolonged illness. Born June 22, 1964, in Charleston, South Carolina, she was the daughter of Alvin R. and Ruby A. Roe. Melanie attended Santa Rita High School, in the class of 1982, and went on to graduate with an associate's degree as a paralegal. She is survived by her daughter Christina (Joshua) Uptergrove of Portland, Oregon, sons Ryan (Erin) Rosado of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Christopher Rosado of Las Vegas, Nevada, Sisters Pamela (Phillip) Lancaster of Tucson, Arizona, and Jaime (Jim) Hegedusich of Shepherdstown, West Virginia, a brother Scott (Olsen) Roe of Vail, Arizona, a grandson Rex of Salt Lake City, Utah, 7 nieces and nephews, and 8 great nieces and nephews, who loved her very much. A private service will be held in August for close family and friends.
