Obituary of William J. Martin

In Loving Memory of William "Bill" Martin born October 15, 1938 in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota. He passed into the loving arms of Our Father and reunited with sons Danny and Baby Boy William July 28, 2016. Bill attended school in Tucson and completed fire training courses. He joined the Tucson Fire Department in April, 1960 and retired in April, 1980. Bill continued in the Fire Service as an Arson Investigator both in public and private service, owning Certified Fire Investigations for many years. In April 2005 the Last Alarm Foundation was formed by a group of firefighter "retirees" of which Bill was a founding member. This subsequently became Bill's "passion". Bill is survived by his wife Penny, daughter Carla (Brian), numerous nieces and nephews as well as many adopted children and grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by sons Danny and Baby Boy William , as well as parents William and Myrtle, as well as brothers Vernon and Leroy and sister Eloise. The family requests in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Last alarm Foundation or to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
