Obituary of Jeane Yeatts

Jeane Yeatts, 78, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on August 26, 2016 in her home. A celebration of her life will be held at Evergreen Cemetery on Wednesday August 31, 2016 at 2pm. Jeane Yeatts was born in Victoria, Virginia to Leslie R. and Laura (Skeeter) Yeatts on March 5, 1938. Jeane graduated from Victoria High School in 1958. She went on to college and received her associate's degree in art. In the late 70's she moved to Tucson, Arizona. She worked as and EKG technician and an art therapist at Kino Community Hospital. She also worked as a loving caregiver for over twenty years. As a caregiver she had the opportunity to travel and see the world. In her travels she met many people and had a positive impact on their lives. She was a passionate artist and photographer whose work is enjoyed by family and friends. She loved working with watercolors and black and white photography. She lived life to the fullest and had a smile that lit up the room! Her mother and father, and brothers Jimmy Yeatts and Jearl Yeatts precede Jeane in death. Her children Randy Culpepper of Tucson, Arizona, Kristin Culpepper of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, and their father Winston Culpepper of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina survive Jeane. She is also survived by her siblings Betty Bergstrom of Jacksonville, Illinois, Sandra Witt, of Sedona, Arizona, Ray Yeatts of Macon, Georgia, and of course her beloved cat, KoolKat. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given on her behalf to The American Cancer Society.
