Obituary of Giovanni Antonio Pizarro-Lozano
Giovanni Antonio Pizarro-Lozano entered heaven on February 3, 2012, at the age of 5. Giovanni was the beloved son of Yvonne Lozano, of Tucson AZ, and the dear brother of Tatiana Breon Pizarro-Lozano also of Tucson AZ. Son of James Christian Pizarro of Tacoma WA. Grandson of Dolores and Jose Lozano of Hisperia MI and Marci and Carlos Pizarro Sr. of Miami FL. Great-Grandson to Kathryn Nielsen, Tacoma WA and Virginia Vega, Fruitport MI. Giovanni is survived by aunts and uncles Mike and Tony Lozano of Sahuarita AZ, Carlos and Tina Pizarro of Ft. Worth, TX, Lisa Pizarro of Miami, FL, Brad Pizarro of Tacoma, WA, along with many cousins, relatives and friends.
Giovanni spent most of his young life battling leukemia, but maintained a happy and fun personality. Giovanni loved spending time playing video games and riding his bicycle. He loved having books read to him and playing with his many car and train sets. Giovanni had an infectious smile and a boisterous laugh.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the dedicated and professional staff of the Oncology Department at University Medical Center in Tucson AZ.
Mass will be 10:00 AM, Friday, February 10, 2012 at Most Holy Trinity, 1300 N. Greasewood Road, Tucson AZ 85745. After Mass, the family and friends will be celebrating Giovanni’s life in the church hall.
Everyone is requested to wear blue in his honor!
