Obituary of Leona E. Perpignani

Leona E. Perpignani 79 was born in Chicago on November 3, 1932 and passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012. She is survived by her husband, Rudy of 52 years. She is also survived by loving sister Myrna (Anthony) Carlini of Chicago; by delightful, niece Lisa (Jim) Reck and nephew, Anthony (Gale) Carlini; 4 grandnieces, Lauren, Alyssa, Debbie and Becky and 1 grandnephew, Anthony IV. Leona, a secretary, moved with husband Rudy in 1973 to Tucson and she continued her secretarial career at TUSD Schools, Sacred Heart Church and Pima County Clerk office. Leona dedicated her life to family and her many friends. Her love for others is only next to her love for animals. Many dogs had wonderful life with her. We will miss her. Her beautiful smile and caring way will stay with us forever. Friends may gather at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Sunday, April 1, 2012. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be 12:00 noon on Monday, April 2nd 2012, at St. Francis de Sales, 1375 S. Camino Seco with a reception to follow in the O'Leary Hall. Donations may be made to Tucson Cancer Center or Animal Humane Society of Tucson.
