Obituary of Ralph A. Tovarez

Rafael Arvizu "Ralph" Tovarez arrived in Apache, AZ December 4, 1939, passed peacefully June 14, 2012 in Tucson with family present. He was a Douglas High School grad. Preceded in death by parents, Eustorgio and Cipriana Tovarez and brother, Lorenzo. Remaining family includes wife, Cristina; brothers, Gabriel and Miguel Tovarez, Carmen and Joe Romero and Henry Flores; sisters, Linda and Rosa Rojas and many other family members. Ralph served in the Army and Air Force, worked hard lifelong, retiring after 26 years at Magma Copper in San Manuel. He was a strong and gentle man who brought happiness and comfort to those who loved him. Visitation 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 23, 2012 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 105 N.
