Obituary of Ralph Evan Minor

Minor, Ralph E., Tucson passed away on February 4, 2013. He had worked as a customer service engineer from the mid-1950s until 1991, spending all of his working life in the Washington D.C. area. Ralph moved to Tucson Arizona in 1995, spending most of his retirement years there. He graduated from Washington and Lee High School in Arlington, VA, in 1952, and held an associate’s degree in electrical engineering from Capitol Radio Engineering Institute (now Capitol College) in Washington D.C. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America as a boy and a Unit Commissioner, enjoyed many forms of music, and loved repairing mechanical and electrical devices. Ralph is survived by three children: David Minor, Stephen Minor, and Jennifer Johnson; brother Malcom "Mac" Minor and sister Annette Sorah. He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores Elizabeth Jones Minor, his sister Mary Minor, and his parents Francis Ward Minor and Sophia Crouch Minor. Memorial services were held on February 10, 2013 at Saguaro Christian Church in Tucson. A small interment service for Ralph will be held at the church's Memorial Garden on February 17, 2013.
