Obituary of John A. Wilson

John A. Wilson passed away far too soon due to heart related complications on Friday February 8, 2013. He was surrounded by the love of his family. John was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather who appreciated all the simple things in life. He was extremely hard working with a strong work ethic both at work and at home. He could never just sit still. He took pride in taking care of others, always putting himself last. John had a long career as a Lead mechanic at Freeport-McMoRan Copper and Gold. He truly enjoyed all the friends he made over the years at work. John enjoyed the outdoors and spending quality time with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Sandy and his Children John A. Wilson II (Karri), Marie Heberling (James), Marji Ferguson, Joanna Moody (Jeff), Sean Barry (Celeste) and his nine beautiful grandchildren. A celebration of John’s life will be held Wednesday February 13, 2-13 at Bring’s Broadway Chapel 6910 E. Broadway Blvd. at 1 PM. Please come with happy stories to share about John.
