DUGAN, James "Jim", today the world lost a spectacular man who touched the lives of many. James "Jim" Dugan, 90, passed away on June 10, 2013 in the caring hands of the ICU staff and doctors at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tucson. Jim was born on October 17, 1922. He was a veteran of World War II where he served as an airplane mechanic in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed his passion of working with horses as a trainer. He also worked as a state steward for the Arizona Racing Commission for 33 years. Jim was a man of many talents. He was a sculptor, painter, writer, and history expert. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Lorraine; daughters, Debbie and Lisa; six grandsons, Hayden, Tyler and Chase Burke, Grant, Reid and Cole Tudor and his favorite horse, Opie. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL at 1:00 p.m. He will be greatly missed by family as well as many loving friends.
