Obituary of Nancy Jane Fehr

FEHR, Nancy Coxon, was born May 3, 1928 in Peoria, Illinois, died January 18, 2014. Her beloved parents, Margaret Lafferty Coxon and Raymond Coxon. Nancy's most prized inheritance was the precious love her parents shared for each other . . . their love was a great comfort to her all her life. Nancy's brother, Raymond, was a source of fun and surprises. Her grandmothers, Nell Coxon, a Bible student, and Mary Lafferty, an accomplished horse woman and horse lover, were her teachers all their lives. Nancy's greatest love, along with her family, was her Lord Jesus and His Word. She taught Sunday School as a young mother, and later ladies met in her home as she taught God's Word. She and Maynard had three sons, Jim, Dan and Bill, two grandsons, Bryan and Ian, on granddaughter, Alicia. Nancy loved to read, study and learn all of her life. Nancy attended Bradley University in Peoria where she met Maynard and her future sister-in-law. Nancy and Marjorie Hoerr Fehr were members of Chi Omega Sorority - still enjoy being sisters. Nancy will be united with the great loves of her life, her Lord Jesus Christ, and her husband, Maynard and son James. "Don't weep for me".
