She was the 5th child of 11 born to her parents Maria and Gerardo Quezada on March 12, 1920. She was born and grew up in Cananea, Sonora, Mexico. At a very young age she gave her life to the Lord and remained steadfast and faithful to Him until the Lord called her home. Elizabeth was a very active and faithful member of the Wesleyan Church and served as a Sunday School teacher for many years. She proudly became a US citizen in June 24, 1983. Elizabeth had keen business sense, was very artistic and creative, an excellent seamstress, and a wonderful cook. She had an extraordinary sense of humor and loved to be with family and friends. She enjoyed traveling and visited many parts of the United States and northern Mexico with her family. Elizabeth was a loving and wonderful: daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and friend. She was very caring and generous, and was always thinking of others and meeting their needs. She will be dearly missed by her extended family and many friends and will always be cherished in our memories.
