Obituary of Michael S. Striednig

Michael Stephen Striednig, a loving son, brother and uncle, passed away unexpectedly on May 9, 2014 while traveling in Las Vegas, NV. Mike was a proud University of Arizona Wildcat and followed his college football career with several professional football engagements, finally retiring from professional sports and transitioning to a successful career in the automobile sales field. Mike was preceded in death by his Father, Louis Striednig, and his older brother, Louis Striednig. He was born on May 29, 1968 in New Brunswick, NJ to Louis and Marie "Mickie" Striednig. Michael is survived by his mother, Marie, brother, John, sisters Mary Thomas and Tracy Jackson, and 13 nieces and nephews. Michael's life will be celebrated at a Memorial Mass on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1375 S Camino Seco, Tucson, AZ 85710. Friends and colleagues of Michael who would like to say farewell are invited to a visitation on Sunday, May 18, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Bring Funeral Home, Broadway Chapel, 6910 E. Broadway Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85710.
