Obituary of Guadalupe Irving Romero

ROMERO, Guadalupe I., aka "Lupita" and "Grandma Pita" by her loved ones, 89, passed away May 15, 2014 in her home surrounded by her family and friends. Wife of deceased husband, Bernabe Q. Romero. She leaves behind her children, Richard J. (Michele), George A., Dolores G. (Stephen) Wedge of MA, Gilbert E. of WA, Mary E., Rudy J., Robert C., Victor B. (Diana), Michael A. (Sherrie) and Donna M. (Juan M.); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, four surviving sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 22, 2014 at St. Cyril's of Alexandria Catholic Church, 4725 E. Pima, followed by burial at Holy Hope Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to TMC Hospice Program in lieu of flowers. Family wishes to thank all of the hospice personnel for their compassion, concern for the family and the wonderful care they provided.
