Obituary of Mary Rose Guerra

Mary Rose "Memi" Guerra 10/05/2014 - 06/23/2014 Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and loved one of many, ascended into heaven to be reunited with her mother, Arcelia, father, Ramon, and three brothers, Arnold, Gilbert, and Manuel The eldest of nine, her family was of the utmost importance to her, for which she would fiercely fight whenever necessary. Despite her small stature, she had a big heart full of love and compassion for everyone she encountered throughout her long, happy, fulfilling life. There are so many things we will miss about you. The way you cared for those who needed it most without fear, especially your husband during his recovery, proved just how gentle yet courageous you were. The beautiful memories and adventures of the Bisbee you loved that you'd so brilliantly share with us so we could relive those cherished moments with you. The warm embrace and bright smile we'd receive at the beginning and end of every visit that welcomed us and comforted us until the next time. Always a classy lady, you were feisty, opinionated, and never one to back down when you had something to say with carefully chosen words full of grace and good intentions. The strength and courage with which you lived your life will forever be a reminder of how we should be living ours. The world became a better place when you entered it and will remain as such as we cherish you always and love you forever. She is survived by her loving, devoted husband of 58 years, Andres, her daughters Mary Ellen (Ray) and Yolanda (David), her grandchildren Monica, Carlos (Toni), David Jr., Clarissa (Frank), and Daniel, her five great-grandsons, her sisters, Gloria, Delia, and Cecilia, her brothers Joe and Ramon, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
