Obituary of Bill W. Yager

Bill W. Yager Bill took his last flight on June 30, 2014 and is off to new heights. He was born April 3, 1923, was married 68 years, and is survived by his loving wife Judith, daughters Kenci (Randy) Lewis, Kristin (Thurman) Watson, Kali (Chito) Sapalo; niece Janis Newton; 9 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Bill flew for 48 years and retired from Learjet in 1985 as Director of Marketing Flight Operations. Bill considered himself fortunate to fly the world over and visit sites he had dreamed of as a boy. His life story, Eight Miles High, chronicled a life well lived and his love of family and friends, flying adventures, fishing, and golf. He is loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Memorial service will be held July 26 at 1:30pm at Brings Broadway Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to TMC Hospice Peppi's House.
