Obituary of John M. Robles

John M. "Johnny" Robles, 76, passed away July 1, 2014 after a 24 year battle with prostate cancer. Johnny is survived by his son Johnpaul Robles (Yvette), daughter Leslie Longoria (Jose), son Dennis Robles (Angela) 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandson with 3 great-grandsons on the way, his brother Refugio Robles and his sister Evangelina Verdugo. Johnny served our country for 3 years in the United States Navy after which he work for the great City of Tucson for 20+ years. He was a member of the American Legion Cocio Estrada Post 59. He is best known for driving his 68 Ford pick up truck, affectionately called "Grey Lightning" by his grandkids, through his neighborhood at an overwhelming speed of about 3-5 miles per hour! Everyone who met Johnny even just once, made a friend for life. Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 5, 2014 at St Margaret Mary Parrish -viewing at 9:30 with Mass following at 10:30- graveside service immediately following at Holy Hope Cemetery.
