Obituary of Daniel Allen Johnson

Daniel Allen Johnson, a loving father, son, brother and friend passed away on August 1st 2014 at the age of 53. "Danny Jack" was born in Portland, Oregon and grew up traveling the country and the world as the son of a career Air Force man. Danny excelled at sports, competing nationally in Judo as well as being an all-star baseball catcher and Varsity wrestler. He was a passionate and talented golfer and for a time made his living as a PGA Golf Professional. He later applied that same passion as a Finance Manager with the Jim Click Automotive Team. Danny loved to dance and loved competing on the golf course. He was an avid Fantasy Football player and a fervent Denver Bronco's fan. He loved a good joke, but never really got the hang of telling one. Danny's favorite moments were spent with his family and dear friends. He was known to wear his heart on his sleeve and his devotion and loyalty to those he loved was well known by all. Even when battling illness, Danny would give all that he had for those he loved so much. His daughter Diana, parents Darrell and Peggy, brothers Darrell Jr. and Dale, and his sister Dinah survive Danny in life. We will miss his humor, wisdom, and loving spirit; but we are comforted knowing that his long and difficult journey has come to an end, and that he is at peace. A memorial service for Danny will be held at the Harrison Hills Mobile Home Park Clubhouse, 4675 S. Harrison Road, on Wednesday, August 6th at 1:00 pm.
