Obituary of Margaret M. Rudd

Margaret M. Rudd, age 51, passed away Sunday evening August 3, 2014 after a brief illness. She was born in Midland, Michigan, to John and Shirley (Ingram) Rudd. Margaret graduated from Midland High School in 1980,obtained her associate's Degree from Delta College in Midland, and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. Margaret was employed at Dow Corning Corp. in Midland and later relocated to their offices in Atlanta, Georgia. Margaret loved to travel and spent two years in the Peace Corps in Neyba, Dominican Republic. Upon completion of her Peace Corps commitment, she moved to Tucson, Arizona and has worked for the Pima County Dept. of Finance and Risk Management since May 2000. Margaret loved the outdoors, hiking and music. She was a long time supporter of the Northern Jaguar Project, a bi-national effort to bring back the jaguar in Mexico and the United States. She is survived by her father, John F. Rudd, Sr.; six siblings, John Rudd, Jr.; Mary Rudd James and her husband John; Timothy Rudd and his wife Brenda; Nancy Repshas and her husband, Richard; Laura Rudd; and Rose Anne Rudd and her husband Dale Froneberger; five nieces and nephews; and an Uncle, Lawrence Ingram and his wife, Sue. Margaret was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley I. Rudd. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Bring's Broadway Chapel, 6910 E. Broadway.
