Obituary of Johnnie G. Sletten

Johnnie was preceded in Death by his Wife, Minerva Janette Sletten , parents Otto Sletten and Kate Harder-Sletten, step-mother, Ruby Sletten, sister Elaine Sletten-Olson, and two grand-children, Barbara Christine Sletten, and Brian Patrick Moore. He is survived by his 5 children and their families: John William Sletten, James Robert Sletten, Jerry Edward Larson, Joyce Christine Williams, June Idamae Moore. Our Dad will be remembered by his twinkling blue eyes, his wry sense of humor, his love for his five children, and his passion for never saying a negative word about another person. Dad would remain silent rather than say a something of ill will regarding another human being. And he loved to grow things. Having moved from Wisconsin to join his family in Arizona in his retirement, he thought "if you water it, it will grow"....
