Obituary of Oscar T. Altamirano

Oscar Ruben T. Altamirano Nov. 11, 1933 ~ Aug. 27, 2014 Oscar went to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family. He was a life-long resident of Tucson. He served in the U.S. Navy. Oscar retired from the US Postal Service after 30 years of service. He is survived by his children: Oscar, Ruben (Carrie), Lisa, Ken and Amanda; grandchildren: Michael, Sarah, Nathan and Natalia, brother, Joe, and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his wives, Lupita and Sharon, and sisters Mary & Frances. He was a devoted father & papa and lived life to the fullest. Oscar was also devout to his faith. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Sat., Sept. 6 at 10:15 am, at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 1800 S. Kolb Road, Tucson. Viewing with Rosary to follow will begin at 9:30 am at the church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery. Arrangements by Bring's Broadway Chapel.
