Obituary of Jeffrey S. Tyler

Jeffrey S. Tyler Retired MSgt. US Army, CISSP, 66 years old passed away on 21 November 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Natick, Massachusetts on 17 May 1948 to David B. and Eleanor G. Schalscha Tyler. While stationed in the Republic of Vietnam, he received the Bronze Star. on 21 July 1977, he married Kathryn M. Lien in Fredricksburg, Denmark while both were serving in the US Army, Surviving members include his wife Kathryn, his daughters Bonnie C. Tyler, and Kristen (Brent) Armstrong and sons David M. Tyler and Benjamin R.S. Tyler, brother Tim (AnnMarie) Tyler, Grandfather to Tabitha, and Victoria Armstrong. Brother in law to Terese Morden, Robin Lien, Barry (Lisa) Lien, Jeffrey (Jill) Lien, and Michelle (Richard) Burdick. Also missed by loving family and friends. He served 21 years in the US Army, 5th Signal Command, and was a member for ISC2 for 10 years. He also served as COO to Collective Technologies in Austin, Texas. co-Founder and Co-owner of HPAZ.net a local Internet Service Provider in the Hereford-Palominas area. He enjoyed building G gauge model railroads, avid cribbage player and all things computerized.
