Obituary of Mary Jane Strahler

Passed away on January 2, 2015. Mary was born in Port Huron, MI, on September 29, 1923 to Mary and Lawrence Heimbach. She moved to Tucson in 1946. Mary is survived by Lawrence, her loving husband of 66 years, her children Judy Strahler, Diane Chapin (Thomas), Mark (Patty), and Lisa Hales (Randall). She loved her grandchildren Zachary, Linda, and Sarah. Mary is survived by her sister, Ann Marie Chisolm, of Florida. She actively enjoyed cooking, her many friends, and attending Silver Sneakers exercise classes. Mary always had a kind smile for everyone. Our thanks to the staff and volunteers at Peppi's House for their compassionate hospice care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the charity of one's choice. A rosary will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday January 8, 2014 prior to the mass at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment at Our Lady of The Desert Cemetery.
