Obituary of Angela Felix Hernandez
You taught me to be strong and resilient, as if you knew I'd need that strength when you left me
Angela (Felix) Hernandez, 46, passed away on November 22, 2021 in Tucson, Arizona.
Angela was born on October 15, 1975 to doting, loving parents, Oscar and Gloria Felix. She was cherished beyond words as the youngest and only girl in her family. Her mom loved her but there was nothing like being a daddy’s girl. Angela was always outgoing, adventurous, and social from the time she was young. She had a warm smile and care in her voice that made people gravitate to her. At the age of fifteen, she met a boy who stole her heart, Gilbert. Their bond was undeniable, and their love was true. Those young love feelings of butterflies in their stomach, the desire to sneak away to be with one another and the excitement of a hug or kiss was what created the foundation for their years of being together and in love. They grew together to build their marriage, family and raise kids. Angela’s children were her heart and soul. She was the voice of her family, the backbone, the strength, and their biggest cheerleader. If you wanted to see the feisty Angela, be witness to a bad call on the field. You would hear her opinion loud and clear. Nothing brought more joy to Angela’s heart like her granddaughter. The love was unmeasurable between the two of them. As we reflect on a beautiful soul who left us too soon, we should also live with the wonderful memory of Angela’s smile and vibrant personality that we all loved and enjoyed so much.
Angela is survived by her husband Gilbert Sr.; children Alyssa, Gilbert Jr. and Monica. Also survived by her granddaughter, the joy of her life, Ary. She is also survived by her mother Gloria and John Felix (brother). She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar Sr. and brother Oscar Jr. She will be greatly missed by many.
Services will be held at St. Rita in the Desert Catholic Church. 13260 E Colossal Cave Road Vail, AZ 85641 on Saturday, December 4, 2021.

- Mass will be offered from 11am – 12pm.
