I met Georgia while we were both teaching water aerobics classes at local gyms in AZ. I will never forget her smile and her ability to get along with anybody. We were all sad when she moved out of state and even sadder to hear of her passing. She will be remembered as one who encouraged unity.

When I saw a water aerobics class at 0545 am, I thought I must be crazy to get up that early! But it was summer and light out so I dragged myself there. Once in the water, I looked up and saw a smiling Georgia waving and smiling back. She set up her music, greeted everyone, turned on the music and we were started! Her energy,, her encouragement, then her grunting and growling to keep us motivated absolutely captivated me! (I started grunting and growling too!) She was such an inspiration, I continued going for years every Tue & Thu at 0545 and made many wonderful friends. And on the occasions of birthdays, I was thrilled to attend several of those with her as well.
I will probably always think of her as the BEST water aerobic instructor, and a wonderful ray of light in all our lives. She had a gift to make everyone feel very special as she will always be to me. Thank you Georgia for your friendship and wonderful memories!
I see you smiling down at us amongst the angels.

I worked with Georgia here at the Highlands for a short time. She was always a wonderful person to work with and I enjoyed talking with her whenever I went to the office.
She was always positive and supportive and had a wonderful personality. Things at the office will never be the same without her. She is missed by us all.

I met Georgia when she came to my auto shop to have work done. She continued to come to us over the years and roped practically her whole family to come to us, too. I can't remember the exact year but it was at least 10 years ago. She was a great lady and I know she will be missed by our little family at our shop. We were all saddened by the news of her passing.

Aunt Georgia was always a special unique soul. When I introduced my to be husband to her , she sat and watched him very intently, with a slight smile. Chris said "Why is she watching me"? I told him she was sizing him up. Later that afternoon she came up to me and said, ok Cherina ( nickname) " I like him, he can stay, " She liked the lite in his eyes.. I loved her matter of fact style, much of which I have also adopted in my own personality. Love you all!!

How befitting that Georgia’s memorial service would be held on the second day of spring. She was a ray of sunshine to so many people. Though I had never met her personally, I had the great pleasure of working with her through The Highlands. She was an amazing accountant. I will always remember her greeting when I would call, “Hello lovely lady.” And so you know why I thought of her as a ray of sunshine, always optimistic, with a positive attitude.
We all hope that while our existence is brief here on earth, we make a difference to those around us. Rest assured, Georgia was one of those people that made a difference in my world. I will miss her.

Our heartfelt condolences to Glenn and family. I will miss Georgia's infectious smile at the gym. We met Georgia when she worked for ASBA and she later invited me to join her yoga group. I'll always be grateful to Georgia for re-introducing yoga to me and the commoradorie of this group of ladies.

"Hello Beautiful" was and is my fondest memory of Georgia. Always a loving kind word EVERY time our paths would cross. Her powers of empathy were amazing, she had laser focus, and fierce love that was and is tangible for her family, her love...Glenn. Georgia's secret power...to change the melody of any room to one of acceptance, kindness, and love. I will miss her special greeting, and her innate ability to make me feel special just by saying hi, or those wonderful hugs. Tied at the hip to Glenn, the two together, a complete unit. My heart goes out to her loved ones, that they are veiled in a blanket of her love to guide them through, and in time help them cope with this fierce energy, love that is....was Georgia. Goodbye my friend, my acquaintance, my most amazing person who radiated love and energy. Always a kind word. When I think of Georgia...I think of love. Hello Beautiful, thank you for everything, the little things you did made a difference. You are love, you are light. Sleep with the angels in the love and peace that is forever you. Thank you for making a difference in my life. Goodbye Beautiful. Peace and love always.
With love...Always...Elsa
To quote Flogging Molly -
If I ever leave this world alive, I'll come down and sit beside your feet tonight. Wherever you are, I'll always be...more than just a memory.
If I ever leave this world alive...
She said...I'm ok. I'm alright...though you have gone from my life...

I keep thinking about how I would memorialize my dear friend - She is and will remain Forever Young in my heart and my mind - she loved her Husband, her Son, Daughter including her Son and Daughter in Law, Grandchildren fiercely and with such a vigorous passion! Her Husband was her one true Love, her Buddy, her Pal, her "One"! We had a wonderful, forever life experience when she wanted to have glamour pictures done for her Husband - what a tribute to say I love you forever and always. I was in awe of her energy - she inspired me,
And, I think she would like the following memory ...
"If I should go tomorrow
It would never be goodbye,
For I have left my heart with you,
So don't you ever cry.
The love that's deep within me,
Shall reach you from the stars,
You'll feel it from the heavens,
And it will heal the scars."

In life's journey we have the good fortune of experiencing rays of sunshine to make our life feel special.
That's what Georgia was, a bubbly ray of sunshine to complete anyone's day.
I had the privilege of working with her for the past year and found her to be an extra ordinary person, with professionalism and a caring personality, and a good friend. Always willing to accommodate, and take on any task in a pleasant manner.
We send our heartfelt sympathy and prayers to her family.
She will be missed tremendously.
Sincerely
Bernie & Anita Lee ( The fruitcake people)

I had the good fortune to work intensely with Georgia for the last year. During that time, because of her talents, dedication and strength, a very flawed, chaotic, error-ridden accounting and bookkeeping system was re-organized, fixed and wrestled to order. As time went by and I learned who and what Georgia was, a very heavy weight was lifted off my shoulders as she fixed and improved us.
I learned to tend to defer to her decisions and recommendations, when an issue came up. Meanwhile, if once in a while a decision disagreed with her recommendation, she was nevertheless always “shoulder-to-the-wheel” in support.
In person or on the phone, she always greeted me with “Hey, you!” I developed a belief that our team was a world-beating one attributable to both her talent and her zest for problem solving and for achieving goals.
All of which leads me to want to sincerely express to her loved ones how wonderful my experience of her was, and how sorry I am for the loss you are experiencing. Thank you for the opportunity to contribute.
